Momma always said there would be days like this. Not sure this is exactly what she had in mind. Late Tuesday afternoon the bullets flew. Three hit our house and one hit the houses of our neighbors on both sides. The target of the assasination was the only one killed, but it was heartbreaking. His wife and one year old baby screaming for help to save his life was indescribably sad. She followed the ambulance to the hospital. I suspect he was dead when his body hit the pavement. The theory is that they were driving to deliver personal invitations to a party, christening or Sweet 16 (15 here). The invitations were left on the ground mixed in with the blood until the police authroized the clean up. Theories abound, but it looks like a semi professional hit to me. The new spiffy Mazda car was untouched. I pray that he knew the Lord and that his family can take solace in knowing the Lord as well.
